Teaching
Since January 2020, I have led the recorder class at the Tyrolean State Conservatory in Innsbruck. I am very passionate about passing on my knowledge and my experience regarding the recorder to younger generations and I am particularly glad that I now have the chance to support prospective recorder teachers in their studies. Both lessons devoted to expanding the students’ repertoire and those focussed on technique are staples of my teaching. Methodical and didactic questions, topic-related projects, and chamber music round off the teaching on offer. Forms of study offered at this Conservatory include: diploma studies (performance), instrumental and vocal pedagogical studies (in cooperation with Mozarteum University Salzburg) and preparatory studies.
More information about the admission procedure and the Tyrolean State Conservatory more generally can be found here: www.konstirol.at
Additionally, I hold a lectureship at Mozarteum University Salzburg (Innsbruck branch), where I teach students in musical education who major in recorder. I am happy to answer any questions relating to recorder as a major at these two institutions.
